The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Account Manager (or Strategic Account Manager) to help
strengthen existing client relationships and drive business growth. This is a client-facing and
commercially focused role, working closely with our client’s technical and analytical teams.
You’ll manage a portfolio of key clients, support the successful delivery of projects, and identify
opportunities for growth through strategic account development and business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with key clients, ensuring excellent service and
    delivery.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and identify opportunities for new
    projects, products, or service enhancements.
  • Lead proposal development, including pricing, scoping, and coordination with technical
    teams.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including bids, tenders, and strategic
    partnerships.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and performance, proactively resolving any issues.
  • Provide input into strategic planning for account growth and sector expansion.

About You

  • Proven experience in account management, business development, or client
    relationship roles — ideally in data, analytics, consultancy, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage senior
    stakeholders.
  • Commercially astute, with experience identifying and converting growth opportunities.
  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple clients and projects
    simultaneously.
  • An interest in data, forecasting, or infrastructure planning would be advantageous.

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, hardworking, and analytical individual to join our UK focused team on a full-time basis.

The role will entail:

  • Working as a key part of our UK team in the production of detailed town and city-based research
    reports and the collation of key data sets.
  • Undertaking primary and secondary research to develop in-depth knowledge of individual local
    markets, as well as an understanding of key national property market trends.
  • Providing direct research support to our clients and in-house teams on an ad hoc basis.
  • Taking an active role in the ongoing development of our UK services in terms of report format, data
    analysis and data delivery to clients.

Your personal attributes

An interest in commercial property: particularly the retail market, along with an understanding of broader
economic and social trends.

A keen eye for detail: you will be part of a team managing data across several UK markets, from collection and input to producing reports and other outputs.

Analytical: you will draw on excellent analytical communication skills, both written and verbally.
Self-motivating: you will work independently from an early stage, requiring self-motivation and excellent
organisation and time management skills.
Computing skills: you will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Well-rounded: you will be degree educated with a strong academic record. A rounded individual with a
property interest is more important than the course studied – we employ graduates from a wide range of
degrees across humanities and sciences.

Languages: fluency in English is essential.
