The Society for Location Analysis (SLA) have been running awards since 2010 and more recently, now includes Undergraduates and Postgraduates Masters Awards which were first established in 2014.
Student Awards 2020 – Winners Announced!
The SLA Student Awards are designed to reward final year Undergraduate and Masters students who have achieved excellence in the broad field of location analysis. The award scheme is open to students registered at UK Universities in the 2019/20 academic year and undertaking dissertations or extended projects involving location analysis.
The judges awarded prizes in two categories:
- The Undergraduate Award
- The Masters Award
Well done to our two winners of this year’s SLA Undergraduate Awards 2020.
- 1st Place – Imogen Francis
- Runner up – Olivia Ross
Congratulations to our three winners. We have such a hard time judging this category that we awarded two runners up because they were just all so good and we couldn’t pick between then.
- 1st Place – Douglas Bell
- Joint Runner Up – Claire Powell
- Joint Runner Up – Xiaomei Ge
We would like to thank all the students who entered. We had a really good number of entries this year which is great to see but kept out judges busy.
