The Consumer Data Research Centre (CDRC) Master’s Dissertation
Scheme (MDS) programme offers an exciting opportunity to link Master’s
students and their supervisors with leading businesses and other
organisations, in order to address research problems that are of mutual
interest.

The Scheme provides students with opportunities to work directly with
these organisations, thereby applying students’ research to practical
problem-solving, using consumer and other data sources. The projects
are devised by the participating organisations and are open to students
from a wide range of disciplines at any UK university.

CDRC has hosted the MDS since 2014. The MDS has not only helped to
bring the worlds of business and academia closer together but has also
provided practical experience of problem-solving that has helped to
launch the careers of many students. The Scheme will run again in 2024,
and organisations interested in participating are requested to contact
Richard.Arnold@ucl.ac.uk.
