A permanent vacancy has arisen for a Location Analyst, based at SGBD Ltd.

Location Analyst
Previous experience of using GIS software either during degree or in employment is ideally required, although training will be provided to the dedicated GIS software.
Reporting to the Market Insight & Strategy Manager, the purpose of this role is to provide location analysis, recommendations and intelligence to 1,000 existing properties across multiple brands, and support new developments.
The ideal candidate would hold a degree in a numerate discipline preferably economics, geography or statistics, have sound IT skills and experience of using Excel, Access and Powerpoint.
The key duties of this position are:
- Analyse potential branch openings and acquisitions
- Support relocations and existing branch development
- Identify market opportunity and capacity
- Help develop network growth opportunities and generate target towns for relevant brands
- Ability to handle and interpret high volumes of data (customer, product, financial, property etc) and identify the key commercial points
You will have excellent analytical skills and the ability to prioritise and to communicate effectively. Attention to detail and accuracy is a must. The ability to work on own initiative and as well as being a team player is essential.
Above all an interest in the built environment, economics, demographics and applying this knowledge commercially will go a long way.
