- Working in collaboration with Regional Acquisition Managers to carry out ‘zonal’ assessments of locations within your designated region, to project store turnovers ahead of business acquisition
- Proactively identify and search for opportunities for investment within your designated region, with ongoing site visits and assessments
- Working out projections, writing assessments, making recommendations and presenting findings
When you join The Co-operative Estates as a Regional Location Analyst, you’ll be joining a business area that is growing and growing. Our success is based on one simple, but massively important principle – a fair deal for everyone.
The key purpose of your role is to actively identify and recommend potential trading opportunities for investment and development, as well as commercial analysis on sites, acquisitions and existing store investment, such as refits and extensions.
Once investment opportunities are identified, using appropriate and current technology and methods, your role will be to create priority location lists that will support the Group’s strategic plans, to devise ad-hoc bespoke predictive analysis solutions, and provide ad-hoc and planned analysis to key stakeholders. To be successful in this role you’ll need to be…
- Proven in a comparable field-based analyst role, ideally in a retail or banking Estates environment with evidence of delivery
- Able to build strong, long lasting relationships, both internally and externally with senior stakeholders
- Able to demonstrate great communications skills, in person, over the phone and in writing, with the ability to present and simplify complex data
- Self-motivated, able to work under pressure, whilst being flexible to our business needs
- PC literate, with specific strengths in Microsoft packages
- An excellent organiser of your time and able to work to tight deadlines
A full driving licence is also required
