We were delighted with our first ever meeting of the Society for Location Analysis (SLA) in Australia.

The SLA, founded in the UK, is all about bringing together location planning practitioners, academics and students to share ideas, expand our capabilities and grow the next generation of location planners. Click below to find out more…

Now, Kate (from Coles Supermarkets and a UK SLA Committee member) and Samantha (from Geolytix, a UK SLA sponsor and Committee member) are excited to launch an Australian chapter of the SLA – our first event in Aus!

On Thursday 3rd July, we welcomed 35 attendees to the innaurgural SLA Australia event. Huge thanks to Samantha Colebatch and Kate Broad for jointly organising and presenting, to Matt Duckham for presenting, and Deloitte Melbourne, for hosting this event. Delegates enjoyed two great presentations about AI in spatial data and location planning.
