The coronavirus will have had positive and negative repercussions on the location planning and customer insight community. There is no doubt that there will always be a need for strong analytics to support business decisions, but many analysts will be using this time to reflect on where next for their career.
This session will bring together some Location Planning Practitioners who are now plying their trade in different analytical roles.
They will seek to draw out the transferable skills from their location planning days as well as identify some of the new skills they have gained and facilitate a wider discussion of the challenges they have faced along the way
There will be an opportunity for those registered to submit their questions in advance.
Panel members will include:

James Miller
Head of Analytics & Insight, intu
James has over 7.5 years’ experience in location planning (Comet, Cushman & Wakefield, DSG International), and over 10 years in a wider customer insight role with Experian, Starcount and intu.

Lisa Watson
Head of Retail Property & Location Planning, EE
Lisa has 20 years in location planning (Boots/EE) having spent the last 2½ years as Head of Retail Property & Location Planning.

Nick Skyte
Multichannel Insight Manager, Office Shoes
Nick has over 4 years’ experience working in GIS/Location Planning at Grant Thornton, and has spent the last two at Office Shoes working as their Multichannel Insight Manager.

Matt Hully
Head of CRM and Loyalty at John Lewis
Matt has over 12 years experience in various roles at John Lewis from online strategy and Brand to CRM and Customer Loyalty. He was also previously Site Research Analyst at Tesco for three years.
